As for down in the Notification Area, I did get a notification that windows failed to install the device's driver whenever I plug it in. I check 'Devices and Printers' and it has said unknown device each time I connect it (tried rebooting also). Sid - When I attached the USB cable I got a chime for both USB 2.0 and 3.0.
